Kansas headwinds

We crossed the Kansas border two days ago and camped at a church in franklin. Woke up and got to Crawford State Park in time to see the fireworks. Rested a day floating around the lake and got sunburned all on my stomach. Last night we decided to head north to topeaka because hwy70 goes through Denver. my dad is going to give us a ride to Colorado since time is an issue and honestly after riding 120 miles already in headwind, I'm not too sad that I have to miss the other 500 miles of Kansas and east Colorado... We'll be in Denver in the morning! Over 400 miles peddled so far. 13.5 avg speed.
